Version 1 of the Hz Basic acoustic panel and mineral plaster is produced.
Hz Acoustic’s journey begins in a garage at Barfredsvej 73 in Frederikshavn.
A plaster containing cellulose fibers is developed, making the material more elastic.
Flexible acoustic panels made of foam that can be used on curved surfaces.
The cellulose fiber plaster is fully developed and becomes Hz Acoustic Plaster 03.
We launch an acoustic plaster containing recycled milk cartons.
Development of an assembly line for the production of finished acoustic panels.
DK Akustik (East), led by Kristian Haahr-Raunkjær, becomes our first Hz Partner.
We begin producing molded glass granulate panels, used among other things for the Swedish railways.
The first version of Hz Plus, a perforated gypsum panel with acoustic felt, is launched. Version 2 follows in 2021.
Hz Dual acoustic panels with holes for screw mounting are introduced. Hz Dual is the same panel as Hz Basic – the difference lies in the mounting method (Hz Basic is glued, while Hz Dual is screwed in place).
Renovation of the existing Hall 1 begins.
Hall 2 – commonly known as “the cold hall” – is put into use.
Construction of a brand-new Hall 3.
Acoustic Plaster 07 is discontinued, and development begins on Acoustic Plaster 09, made with recycled cotton textile waste.
A new administration building with direct access to Hall 1 is put into use.
After three years of continuous development, our textile panels (Hz Basic Recycled + Hz Dual Recycled) finally receive fire certification.
DK Akustik Vest, Nordic Acoustic, Lillebælt Tømreren, Dansk FacadePuds, and Akustiknord become official Hz Partners.
We begin our own production of shredded textile fibers for Acoustic Plaster 09. The textile waste comes from a local laundry, where we process it to be used in our plaster.
We enter into a partnership with the Swedish company Zbloc Norden, which will help build the market in Sweden.
In June 2025, we celebrate Hz Acoustic’s 10th anniversary – a major milestone that deserves to be marked in style.
