Hz Plus is installed on a timber or steel batten system. As the gypsum panels are supplied with acoustic felt, it is important that the felt faces downward and functions as the visible surface during installation rather than as the back side.
The panels are installed in a staggered pattern with a minimum offset of 50mm between joints to ensure a stable construction and a uniform result. The batten system must be installed with a centre-to-centre spacing of 300mm to provide the required support for the panels.
After installation, the panels are finished with Hz Acoustic Plaster, which closes the perforations and creates a smooth, seamless acoustic ceiling.
