The Basic 007 acoustic panel consists of:

  • Mineral wool (40 mm)
  • Glass granulate made from 100 % recycled material (9 mm)
  • Total thickness: 49 mm

The Basic 007 acoustic panel can be adhered to ceilings or walls that are solid and stable, as well as suspended constructions made of plasterboard or fiber concrete, on flat or slightly curved surfaces. Suitable for dry and wet areas. The substrate must support 20 kg/m².

Panels must be stored in a dry, frost-free environment. Temperature must not exceed 40 °C. Panels must not be exposed to direct sunlight.

The substrate must be dry, free from grease, and loose particles. Loose plaster, chalky, and non-durable surfaces must be removed, and the surface primed with Hz Primer. Previously painted surfaces must be primed with Hz Primer. Hz Basic acoustic panels must be fully adhered using flexible tile adhesive. Use a notched trowel (6-10 mm), depending on the substrate’s evenness. Adhesive must be pressed into the mineral wool panel, and panels must be offset of at least 15 cm when installed. Hz Fill is used on all panel edges. Follow the supplier’s instructions.

At 20 °C and 50 % relative humidity (RH): Fill for joints and holes dries within 1 hour and can then be sanded using a dust-extracting drywall sander. Plastering can be done on the same day.
