An acoustic panel made of mineral wool and glass granulate, must be finished with our acoustic plaster.
The Dual 011 acoustic panel is suitable for flat or slightly curved surfaces that are solid and stable. The panels must be screwed in place. If you need adhesive-mounted panels, check out our Hz Basic acoustic panels.
The Dual 011 acoustic panel consists of:
The Hz Dual 011 acoustic panel must be mechanically fastened through four pre-drilled holes in the factory-prepared surface. It is ideal for ceilings and walls where sound transmission through the structure needs to be reduced or minimized. Mounting can be done directly on a solid surface or onto battens.
Panels must be stored in a dry, frost-free environment. Temperature must not exceed 40 °C. Panels must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
Panels are screwed in place with suitable screws, depending on the substrate. Washers (minimum Ø 18 mm) should be used to prevent screws from sinking into the mineral wool. Anchors can also be used for extra stability. Panels should be installed with the long side aligned with the light direction, ensuring staggered joints for optimal stability.
Pre-drilled holes are sealed with included glass granulate plugs. Hz Fill must be used in all panel joints for a seamless finish. Always follow the supplier’s instructions for correct installation.
At 20 °C and 50 % relative humidity (RH): Fill for joints and holes dries within 1 hour and can then be sanded using a dust-extracting drywall sander. Plastering can be done on the same day.
